A man is facing charges after reportedly brandishing a large knife at a Denny’s employee in Petaluma.
Police say John Cast confronted an employee Friday night after the employee moved his property from the front door of the restaurant at on Petaluma Boulevard.
During the confrontation, Cast threatened to kill the employee and waved the knife, then fled before officers arrived. He was later located and taken into custody without incident.
Officers recovered the knife, and no one was injured.
