Multiple Floors Of Santa Rosa’s Largest Affordable Housing Complexes Damaged Following Fire

Eight residents were displaced Wednesday after a fire damaged multiple floors of Bethlehem Tower, one of Santa Rosa’s largest affordable housing complexes.

Fire crews responded shortly after 3 p.m. to the 14-story building at 801 Tupper St., finding a blaze on the 12th floor and upgrading to a second alarm. The fire was contained to a single unit, but smoke, fire, and water damage affected several floors.

Authorities reported no injuries and said 21 units sustained some level of damage.

An investigation into the cause is ongoing.
