The Town of Windsor is looking for its next “Youth Mayor” and is currently accepting applications from local students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Started in 2022 by Mayor Rosa Reynoza, the program allows one student per year to shadow the mayor at ribbon-cuttings and sit on the dais during town council meetings.
The Press Democrat reports applications are due by January 22nd, offering younger children a unique chance to have their voices heard and participate in community events like the annual tree lighting.
