Pickleball fans in Sonoma Valley have a big reason to celebrate as Larson Park is set to officially reopen on Friday, February 13th, following a massive top-to-bottom renovation.
The Sonoma Index-Tribune reports the park will feature the valley’s first-ever dedicated public pickleball courts, alongside new playgrounds, picnic areas, and upgraded tennis courts that meet the latest accessibility standards.
While the courts will be ready for action next week, officials say the new soccer fields might stay closed a bit longer to give the fresh sod a chance to take root.
