Calistoga Road was shut down for over five hours Monday morning after a car slammed into a PG&E support pole near Piedmont Drive.
The 4:15 a.m. crash left the pole splintered and leaning, forcing crews to rush in for a full replacement before reopening the road just before 10:00 a.m.
Fortunately, PG&E reports that no customers lost power during the repairs, and the roadway is now back to normal for the Monday commute.
