A Sonoma County fire engine responding to an emergency was involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Windsor.
Per the Press Democrat, the engine was traveling with its lights and sirens on when it collided with a Toyota Prius at the intersection of Old Redwood Highway and Lakewood Drive.
Two people in the Prius were transported to the hospital, though their conditions haven’t been released; luckily, no firefighters were injured. The Windsor Police Department is now investigating the cause of the accident.
