U.S. News and World Report has released its first-ever “Best Home Health” ratings, and a dozen North Bay agencies have landed on the list of top providers.
According to the North Bay Business Journal, the report, which evaluates over 12,000 agencies nationwide on patient experience and care quality, named Mare Island Home Health in Fairfield as a top performer with near-perfect scores, alongside Sutter Care at Home in Novato and Fairfield’s East Bay Home Health Services.
The rankings provide a roadmap for families seeking post-hospitalization recovery or chronic illness management, highlighting nine other regional agencies—including five in Santa Rosa—that met or exceeded national expectations.
With California leading the nation in high-performing facilities, local experts say these ratings offer a vital tool for residents looking to ensure a successful recovery while avoiding costly return trips to the hospital.
