The popular Head West Marketplace is officially coming back to Sebastopol’s Barlow district.
The Press Democrat reports this week, the Planning Commission gave the green light for the monthly outdoor event, which features up to 60 local makers, designers, and vintage collectors. Starting in March, shoppers can head to McKinley Street on the third Sunday of every month to browse handmade goods and enjoy live music from local artists.
To keep things running smoothly, organizers are stepping up efforts to manage parking and trash, including hiring monitors to keep nearby cinema lots clear for moviegoers.
The marketplace will also look to partner with the local Farmers Market to boost foot traffic downtown, operating from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the end of the year.
