Thousands Flood North Bay Streets For “No Kings” Rallies

Tens of thousands of demonstrators marched through the North Bay this Saturday as part of a massive nationwide protest against the Trump administration.

Per the Press Democrat, locally, crowds filled downtown Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Napa, with a staggering twelve thousand people gathering at Old Courthouse Square to voice concerns over the war in Iran, immigration crackdowns, and the erosion of democratic norms.

The “No Kings” rallies featured a mix of festive costumes and somber messages, with speakers ranging from high school students to Indigenous advocates calling for a check on executive power.

While the protests remained largely peaceful, the high turnout reflects a growing local mobilization as residents across Sonoma and Napa counties say they’ve reached a breaking point with current federal policies.
