Commuters in downtown Santa Rosa can expect shifts in traffic as construction kicks off on B Street.
Crews are currently adding a new southbound right-turn lane at Third Street alongside upgrades to signals, sidewalks, and bike lanes.
The project is slated for a three-month timeline, with completion expected this July. Meanwhile, a separate plan to add a drive lane near the Santa Rosa Plaza remains in limbo following a recent appeal.
A formal hearing to decide the fate of that additional lane is scheduled for May 7th.
