The prominent former Bank of America building at 10 Santa Rosa Avenue is headed to the auction block this June after several traditional sales fell through.
The Press Democrat reports located at the corner of Third Street across from Old Courthouse Square, the 31,000-square-foot office has sat vacant since the start of the pandemic. Real estate brokers have set the minimum bid at $650,000 on the Ten-X platform, hoping a wider net will attract a serious buyer ready to close quickly.
While the property was once valued near $10 million, recent price drops and foreclosure have cleared the way for potential redevelopment or rehabilitation. Interested bidders can tour the site before the three-day auction begins on June 1.
Experts say the prime location offers a unique opportunity for office space or a large-scale mixed-use project in the heart of the city.
