CHP Seeking Public’s Help In Sonoma Hit-And-Run Investigation

The California Highway Patrol is searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian with major injuries in Sonoma last Thursday.

The Press Democrat reports authorities say a gray Toyota Tacoma struck a person on Boyes Boulevard near Barrett Avenue around 9:30 p.m. before fleeing the scene heading eastbound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, though further details on their condition have not yet been released. Investigators are now calling on the community for any leads regarding the vehicle or the driver’s identity. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information is urged to contact the Napa CHP at 707-699-6300.

Officials emphasize that even a small detail could be vital to bringing justice to the victim and their family.
