A twenty-two-year-old Santa Rosa man is behind bars following reports of shots fired in a local residential neighborhood late Friday night.
Officers responded to the twenty-nine-hundred block of Bay Village Circle around ten-fifty p.m. after multiple neighbors reported hearing gunfire. Upon arrival, police detained the suspect and recovered a handgun along with several spent shell casings at the scene.
Fortunately, authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported and no property was damaged during the incident. The man now faces multiple firearm-related charges as investigators work to determine a motive.
