After a brief closure that left local customers in the dark, the Batteries Plus storefront in Petaluma has officially turned the lights back on.
The Petaluma Argus-Courier reports the specialty shop at Plaza North Shopping Center closed in January following the previous owners’ retirement, but it was quickly rescued by new owner Tom Schultz.
Longtime staff members have returned to their posts, offering the hyper-specialized battery and lighting services the community has relied on for years. From hard-to-find antique car batteries to key-fob repairs, the shop remains a unique resource for residents across the region.
