A search for a missing sixteen-year-old Petaluma boy ended with good news Sunday night after police confirmed he has been located.
Per the Press Democrat, Chace Finn was found safe and in good health before being reunited with his parents, according to a statement from the Petaluma Police Department.
The teenager had been missing since Tuesday afternoon, sparking an intensive search across the North Bay that included pleas from his family and the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District. Authorities had previously expressed concern because Chace was without a phone and had been spotted as far south as San Rafael.
Police officials are thanking the community for their widespread attention and for providing the tips that helped bring the search to a successful conclusion.
