INTERVIEW: The Implications of the Rain on the Camp Fire and Continuing Survivor Search

 

Santa Rosa Assistant Fire Marshall, Paul Lowenthal, speaks to the team of fire and law enforcement personnel that are on-site at the Camp Fire in Butte County, the focus on the implications of the incoming rain to the area, the topography of the area around Paradise, California and how that relates to the possibility of rock and mud slides, and the forecast for the region over the next twenty to forty-eight hours:

 

 

Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea speaks to the positive and negative of the rain storms arriving in the region the next few days, the hope he has in finding people are currently missing in the region, the first responders in the are who are providing experience from their time with our wildfires, and how big the area is that still needs to be searched:
