Miyoko’s Creamery has confirmed that it’s founder and CEO Miyoko Schinner has been fired from the company, something that occurred in June of last year. Also, Schinner is being sued by the company for allegedly stealing company property after being fired. The property includes “trade secrets and confidential information.” The company also alleges that Schinner tried to cover her tracks by deleting her activity from company devices. Schinner founded Miyoko’s Creamery in 2014 specializing in vegan nut cheeses and nut butters.
