Montgomery High School Student Who Died in Stabbing Put to Rest

More than 300 people gathered for the funeral of the Montgomery High School student who was stabbed to death in a classroom earlier this month. The 16-year-old’s funeral was held at Eggen and Lance Mortuary in Santa Rosa on Sunday morning. The boy was stabbed after allegedly attacking a 15-year-old freshman in an art class on March 1st. The suspect faces several charges, including voluntary manslaughter. Another boy was stabbed in the hand and survived. Police are still investigating the history of conflict between the students.
