Roseland’s Cinco de Mayo celebration has been cancelled again. It’s the 4th year in a row the event has been cancelled. In prior years the celebration had been canceled due to the pandemic. However, this year organizers tell the Press Democrat that the cancellation is because of regulation changes by the city of Santa Rosa as well as permits. They also added that the cancellation sends a bad message to the Latino community from local authorities.
