Cops arrested a Rohnert Park man on probation for illegally having a gun. Late Monday night, an SRPD officer pulled over a vehicle in the area of North Dutton Avenue and West College Avenue. After smelling alcohol and finding out one person in the car was on probation, the officer searched the car and found a Glock handgun in the map pocket of the driver’s seat. A passenger in the back seat, Aurelio Garcia-Rojas, admitted the gun was his and he was arrested for possessing a concealed firearm. Two loaded magazines and ammunition were also found in the car.
