Kids may ride for free this summer. The SMART Train, Marin Transit, Sonoma County Transit, Santa Rosa CityBus, and Petaluma Transit are offering free rides for K-12 youth throughout the summer season with the Summer Youth Ride Free Program. SMART Communications Manager Julia Gonzalez says this program is a great way to get young families moving around as well as to get kids excited about using public transit. Free rides for youth will be available for all of June, July, and August.
