Sonoma County Spring is the Coolest Since 2011

Sonoma County is in the grips of its coldest spring in more than a decade. The National Weather Service says the average temperature in the region between March 1st and May 31st was 55-point-four-degrees. It’s the coldest spring since 2011, when the average temperature was 54-point-four-degrees. Sonoma County’s coldest spring on record was in 1917, when the average temperature was 51-point-seven-degrees. Records have been kept since 1902. The National Weather Service says the coast has been the coldest area of Sonoma County this spring.
