A small vegetation fire in Petaluma has been contained. The Pepper Fire broke out yesterday afternoon in the 2100 block of Pepper Road. Firefighters from several agencies responded quickly and managed to contain the blaze to just under 5 acres. No structures were damaged or destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
