A Vallejo man has been arrested for injuring a pedestrian in Napa County during a hit-and-run. The incident happened this past Sunday early in the morning when a 59-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car on Highway 29 near Kimberly Drive in American Canyon. He remains in the hospital with serious injuries. The Napa County Sheriff’s office determined that 30-year-old Lester Alberto Valenzuela was responsible for the injury. He was arrested on Wednesday morning for suspicion of hit-and-run with injury. Valenzuela has since been released on $50,000 bail.
