Host Jeff Davis talks with Casey Greybehl, winemaker and owner of The Grenachista. Casey is a Bay Area native and spent 9 years at Cakebread Cellars in Napa before venturing out on his own. He loves the geanache varietal and uses it exclusively under his own label, but with a few twists. Casey likes to pick the grapes earlier in the season to capture a more subtle expression from the grapes, and he prefers to use 100% whole cluster fermentation and native yeast.
