INTERVIEW: Save Winterblast!
(Audio) KSRO News Director Michelle Marques and co-host Larry Olson talk with Spring Maxfield from Santa Rosa Urban Partnership about Winterblast, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 10 from 4pm to 7pm in the quirky South of A Street arts district in Santa Rosa. This fun, free community celebration is volunteer run and features SOFA parades, live music, open art studios, food and drink, and much more.
Due to a rise in event costs, this year's Winterblast event may be CANCELED. Funding is needed for permits, traffic officers, and insurance. If you can help, click on their GoFundMe account to donate.

Sonoma County Focus – Watch Duty App
Host Michelle Marques talks with John Mills, CEO and Cofounder of the Watch Duty app. Watch Duty uses crowdsourcing from a number of citizen reporters to give succinct, timely information on fires and other emergencies in the North Bay. The app just expanded to the rest of California, and Mills says they are looking at expansion into Oregon and Washington next.
