Sonoma County Focus – The Mural Project
Host Michelle Marques talks with artists MJ Lindo-Lawyer and Joshua Lawyer about The Mural Project, a series of murals that will be painted this year along Sebastopol Road in Roseland from June 20th through July 2nd. There will be a community celebration at Mitote Food Park in Roseland on July 2nd to celebrate the completion of the murals and the artists who made them. The project not only helps artists find funding to create beautiful murals, but it helps to beautify a portion of Santa Rosa and lends to civic pride. MJ and Joshua hope to turn this into an annual event, turning Roseland into a destination for art lovers around the world. The Mural Project is still looking for donations and volunteers to make each of the planned murals happen.
