Sonoma County Focus – Free Tax Filing from United Way

sonomacountyfocussquare

Host Michelle Marques talks with Suzanne Harris, Community Impact Director for United Way of the Wine Country, about the amazing FREE tax preparation available through the "Earn It, Keep It, Save It" program. Those who made less than $66,000 in household income last year qualify for FREE federal and state tax filing. Volunteer tax preparers are fully trained and certified to help you get all of the tax credits you are eligible for. And these preparers can also file your previous year tax returns as well. You do not need to have a social security number to take advantage of this free tax preparation.

Your tax preparer can also help you learn how to best use the refund you get, and help you establish ways to save, ways to invest in your education, or other opportunities to use your refund to improve your financial stability.

Learn more at unitedwaywinecountry.org or call 211 in Sonoma County to be connected to a tax preparer.
