Host Michelle Marques talks with author Naz Deravian about her new cookbook Bottom of the Pot: Persian Recipes and Stories. The book chronicles her life as an immigrant as well as the delicious recipes from her homeland of Iran. Besides offering a peek into the Persian kitchen, the book relays what it means to be an immigrant at a time when our country stands divided on the role of immigrants in our society.
