Bring a flashlight and your sense of wonder as you explore the park after dark on Thursday, April 30, 6:15-9:15 pm. This moderate-to-strenuous, 4.2-mile hike with approximately 800ft of elevation gain heads up to the viewpoint on Vista Trail where we will see the moon rise over the Mayacamas and the sun set over Sonoma Valley. Not recommended for children under 7 years old.

Meet at the White Barn parking lot at least 10 minutes prior to 6:15pm for a prompt departure. Tickets are $10 for general audiences, $5 for students, youth (13-17 year olds), Sugarloaf members, Sugarloaf or RFO volunteers, and free for children 7-12 years old. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You must register on this page to attend; tickets on site will be $15 for all and might not be available. Bring your flashlight, at least a quart of water, extra layers for the evening, and if desired, a snack. Parking fees apply.
