An expert on fall allergies is offering some tips for sufferers on this first day of fall. Doctor Leiana Oswald at the Roseman University of Health Science says allergy sufferers have a tough time in the fall. Doctor Oswald says pollen counts change in September as weather changes. She says the range of over-the-counter treatments is wider than ever, with antihistamines that make you either sleepy or non-sleepy, depending on which you prefer, nasal corticosteroids that relieve congestion, and decongestants that can help with pressure. You can also ask your doctor about prescription medications.
