A plan to build a tiny homes village for veterans in north Santa Rosa is moving forward after receiving key funding approval. Developers are set to build 14 tiny homes on land owned by the county on Russell Avenue, with plans to break ground in early July and open Veterans Village by December. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors last week approved nearly two-million dollars for the project.
