Heavy on the Trick …not-so-much for the Treat. The Santa Rosa Police Department is setting up a DUI checkpoint in anticipation of pre-Halloween partying.
Police officials yesterday didn't release the exact location of the checkpoint, but did say it will be within city limits and will run from seven o'clock tomorrow night through 2:30 Saturday morning. The checkpoint is designed to look for drivers who have been drinking or are under the influence of drugs, and to check for valid licenses.
