Speaking in Iowa on the latest leg of his “thank you tour,” the President-elect said his administration will uphold the philosophy “buy American and hire American.” He said he wants the next generation of innovation to happen in America. He also promised to slash what he sees as job-killing environmental regulations, ending what he called the “EPA intrusion” into people’s lives. Trump promised that while there will be fewer environmental regulations, the environment will be better protected.
