British Airways cabin crew members and Southern Railways train drivers walked off the job, touching off fresh disruption for travelers in Britain. The strike came a day after a subway strike snarled transport across London as unions increasingly show a willingness to walk off the job in disputes. (AP Photo/Frank Augstein)

Flights are delayed for all kinds of reasons: but a mouse on board isn’t usually one of them: Someone saw a mouse, and airline rules say you can’t fly with a mouse on board….they could gnaw thru wiring…so passengers were delayed for four hours while British Airways found another plane.
