A woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after a single-car crash off Highway 116 in Forestville. The crash happened around 8:30 yesterday morning when the unidentified driver crashed into a power pole and trees.
That crash knocked out power for about nine hours to about 400 nearby customers. Firefighters had to remove the woman from her crushed Toyota before taking her to the hospital, where her condition remains unknown. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
