$300 Million Housing Bond Being Developed for the November Ballot

It will come as a surprise to no one that our cities and counties paid out an extraordinary amount of money after the fires, and that money has to be replaced. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is taking steps to put a 300-million dollar housing bond on the ballot in November for building new homes: that from the board’s meeting yesterday. And the Santa Rosa City Council last night decided to implement a hiring freeze and announced an increase in the city’s budget next year of more than 60-million dollars.
