Sonoma County officials are still not ready to officially identify the man and woman killed in a plane crash in Petaluma. The plane was registered to Richard Bristow of Carmichael, near Sacramento, and his brother said yesterday it was Bristow flying the plane with his wife as a passenger. An FAA spokesman says the single-engine, two-seat plane crashed Sunday just after taking off from Petaluma Municipal Airport. The FAA and The National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
