Coordinator for the Save the Gravenstein Apple Project of Slow Food Russian River, Paula Shatkin, and Executive Director of the Sonoma County Farm Trails, Carmen Snyder joined Pat this morning to discuss a variety of topics, including the Slow Food Program and how the Apple Fair could one day disappear, the Free Community Apple Press (which will be on site at the fair this weekend), the fundraising the event does to keep farms alive locally, and what you can enjoy at the Gravenstein Apple Fair this weekend:
The 45th Annual Gravenstein Apple Fair is this Saturday, August 11th and Sunday, August 12th from 10am to 6pm both days at Ragle Ranch Park in Sebastopol.
Adult tickets are $15 with reduced prices for those who ride their bike, and for children under twelve. Babies under five years of age enter for free.
