Center Stage, a celebration of performing arts in Sonoma County, is brought to you by the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University.
From New York City, the Frisson Ensemble features the best and brightest of classical music’s rising stars drawn from many of the nation’s major music schools including Julliard, Curtis, and Yale. With its flexible grouping, Frisson is able to showcase a myriad of rarely-performed masterworks. An ensemble of six are touring the west coast and Redwood Arts is indeed lucky to have been able to book them.
Artistic Director and Founder of the Frisson Ensemble, Tom Gallant describes the type of music you’ll enjoy in their upcoming performance, the variety of members who will be available during this show, and what he believes the answer is to exposing more young people to classical music:
