At around 4:00p this afternoon Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of unwanted subjects at 6500 block of Bohemian Highway, the address of Camp Meeker’s Westminster Woods. According to Sonoma County Sheriff’s officials, subjects arrived on a bus and a box truck wearing black robes and ‘Anonymous’ masks and blocked the entrance to the facility. SWAT was later dispatched to the scene after reports that one of the members of the group potentially had a firearm, or some sort of weapon. While no weapons were found, 5 subjects have been detained and Sheriff’s Detectives are currently preparing for interviews to figure out the groups involvement and reason for being on the property. No one was injured during the incident and the motives for the group’s arrival are still unclear. A Nixle was issued after 4:00 advising residents to stay outside of a mile radius from Camp Meeker and eyewitnesses reported seeing many law enforcement units responding to the scene.
