California will not be canceling this year’s bar exam despite complications caused by the ongoing health crisis. The California Supreme Court announced their decision last night, which came as a disappointment to hundreds of recent law school graduates who urged the court to cancel the exam and grant them permanent law licenses through a process called “diploma privilege.” Roughly 9,000 graduates are registered to take the exam, which was postponed to September.
