Sutter Health Begins Rescheduling Cancelled Vaccine Appointments

Sutter Health has started rescheduling thousands of coronavirus vaccination appointments that were cancelled earlier this week. The Bay Area healthcare giant warned it could have to cancel up to 95-thousand appointments because it didn’t have enough doses to go around. Many people scheduled for their second dose reported seeing their online appointments suddenly vanish. Officials have confirmed they’ll be receiving a fresh batch of 30-thousand doses this coming Wednesday, and close to another 30-thousand the following week. Sutter believes everyone who scheduled a second dose at their clinics will still be able to get the final shot within the six-week maximum timeline recommended by the CDC.
