California Launches Advertising Campaign to Promote Vaccines

California is launching a $40-million dollar advertising campaign to boost vaccinations in the Golden State. The outreach effort includes radio, TV and billboards with a focus on multicultural and multilingual media outlets. The goal is to address questions and concerns about COVID-19 vaccinations. The so-called “Let’s Get to ImmUnity” campaign is designed to raise awareness and acceptance of the vaccines in the state’s hardest hit communities, ahead of eligibility expansion in May. The campaign is part of the effort to increase vaccinations in all 58 California counties.
