Coronavirus case rates continue to drop for Sonoma County. At the beginning of the month, our 7 day daily average of COVID-19 cases was at 2,281. Now that number stands at 1,642. Along with that, two out of the three key metrics for reopening have us qualifying for the Orange Tier. The stat that is holding us back is new cases per 100,000 per day which is at 6.8. That number needs to be below 4 in order to move into the less restrictive Orange Tier.
