Sonoma County could be in the Orange Tier within 2 to 3 weeks.
County Health Officials are expecting the state to adjust the Orange Tier case rate metrics in the next couple of weeks which would qualify Sonoma County for the Orange Tier. Our adjusted case rate for New Cases per 100,000 per day needs to be below 4 to qualify for the Orange Tier and is currently 5.6. However, that qualifier is expected to change to below 6 once 4 million doses of vaccine are delivered to the most disadvantaged communities in the state.
