With the blistering heat and threat of blackouts, now might be the best time for Santa Rosa residents to get a weather radio. Courtesy of the city, free weather radios will be given away at two upcoming events. The first is tomorrow from 8 AM to 11:30 AM at the Santa Rosa High School. The 2nd will be the same time next Saturday at Lawrence Cook Middle School. Any resident within the legal city limits can get one but you have to fill out a registration form either on the city’s website or one received in the mail as part of the city’s Emergency Preparedness Guide. The form also allows residents to register for SoCo Alerts. More info can be found at SRCity.Org.
