Napa County officials say they recovered the body of a man who drowned in Lake Berryessa. This is the second victim to drown at the lake in nine days. Deputies were sent to the lake after a man disappeared while swimming yesterday. After nearly three hours of looking for the victim search teams were able to find the man’s body about 15 feet into the lake. Officials say it appeared the man tried to swim from one side of the cove to the other and went down while doing so. Last weekend a man identified as Billy Dy disappeared at the lake and was found the morning of June 20th.
