Another Covid-19 death in Sonoma County brings the death toll to 338. A woman in her 90’s who was unvaccinated and had underlying conditions died in a local hospital on August 4th. Latest stats show that 79 people are hospitalized with Covid-19 with 17 of those in the ICU. Sonoma County Health Officer Dr. Sundari Mase has described the recent deaths of unvaccinated individuals as “preventable tragedies.” About 20-percent of those eligible for the vaccine have not received shots.
