Cotati Police received a call on Christmas Eve from someone in the L Section who saw a woman steal mail from their mailbox. Just after 6AM, the reporting party said they had witnessed a woman approach their home. She then opened their mailbox and took the contents. The woman is described as white, about 25- to 40-years-old, with long light brown wavy hair, wearing all black clothing and slippers. Police warn residents to promptly retrieve mail and packages during the holiday season. Anyone with information on the incident should contact Cotati police.
